Do biological control in strawberries at Rokkedyssegaard and be rewarded with a strawberry ice cream

Join our work at Rokkedyssegaard to control pests with beneficial insects in strawberries. We meet in front at the Farmshop. Strawberry grower and owner Lisbeth Toft will welcome and tell about the work to be done. Together we go to the Strawberries and do biological control by putting beneficial insects in the strawberry plants. The beneficial insects eat thrips and spider mites - pure biology. After an hour we return to the Strawberry Café at the farm shop and get a taste of fresh berries and strawberry ice crem made on the farm with our own berries. Owned by Lisbeth and Torben Bo Toft Christensen, Rokkedyssegaard is a family business dedicated to growing Nordic berries. For many years, Rokkedysse are supplying top restaurants in Copenhagen and North Zealand with tasty berries. We aim to grow the best berries in the world. We invite our guests to enjoy the berries and visit our stand in Torvehallerne Copenhagen and the farm Rokkedyssegaard, where you can also pick your own berries.

We need your help - please keep the beach and nature area surrounding ARKEN Museum of Contemporary Art clean from litter and get free coffee/tea or a juice for kids.
