Get active in Copenhagen

For those who want to add some adrenaline or exercise to their Copenhagen experience, there are plenty of action-packed activities to choose from. Some of which combine a little (or hard) physical activity with seeing Copenhagen from another perspective – for instance the kayaks.

The new crown jewel in the city's collection of activities is Copenhill. This innovative urban mountain built on top of a waste-to-energy power plant has given the city a place to go skiing. If you're not a skier you can also go running, walking, climbing or just head up to enjoy the extraordinary view. There's loads of other ways to get active and we've listed some of the best for you here. Get out in the beautiful city and get your body moving.

We also recommend you to join in on Copenhagen's bike culture and to make use of our clean harbour
