Different types of buses operate throughout the day and night, connecting both central and outer areas. A-buses and 5C run frequently and are the main buses in central Copenhagen. They operate all day and night. S-buses are faster, with fewer stops, and run from early morning until late night. N-buses are night buses.

When locating a bus stop, look for a sign with a bus logo. Buses will only stop if someone is at the bus stop or if a passenger rings the bell to get off. When a bus approaches, take care crossing the cycle path.
