Intimate gourmet restaurant doubling as a down-to-earth wine bar by Copenhagen’s harbour front.
The reasons to visit are many. Functioning as both an acclaimed fine dining restaurant and relaxed vino haven, Nærvær offers something for every budget and occasion. Besides, the cool interior designed by Danish Norm Architects makes you want to move right in.
For Nærvær’s full gourmet experience, book one of the only 12 seats around the bar counter surrounding the open kitchen inside the restaurant section and enjoy the menu which requires a whole night. OR: Simply go for a glass of wine and some smaller servings from the bar menu to enjoy out on the sunny harbour front patio or inside at the wine bar behind the floor-to-ceiling window sections.
In the restaurant as well as in the wine bar, the food is contemporary and creative with clear references to chef, Yves Christian-François Le Lay’s French-Danish background.
Previously, Le Lay cooked at some of the best restaurants in the country; Søllerød Kro and Falsled Kro. Now he treats guests to divine meals from his pretty idyllic location by the bridge Inderhavnsbroen and opposite the water from Nyhavn.
Nærvær offers private dining facilities for up to 8 pax.
