
Getting to and from the cruise terminals
Copenhagen has three cruise terminals: Langelinie, Nordre Toldbod and Ocean Quay. Here, you will find useful information on how to get to and from the three cruise terminals in order to reach Copenhagen Airport, Copenhagen Central Station and Copenhagen City Center.

Getting to and from Ocean Quay
Copenhagen Airport
- Bus 25 and Metro: Take bus 25 from the bus stop Oceankaj towards Østerport Station. Get off at Orientkaj metro station and take the M4 line towards Kongens Nytorv. Change at Kongens Nytorv to the M2 line towards Copenhagen Airport. The duration of the trip is approximately 40 minutes. You will need a valid 3-zone ticket, which costs 36 DKK.
- Bus 164 and Metro: Take bus 164 (runs all year round) towards Ballerup St. Get off at Orientkaj metro station and take M4 towards Kongens Nytorv. Change at Kongens Nytorv to the M2 line towards Copenhagen Airport. The duration of the trip is approximately 40 minutes. You will need a valid 3-zone ticket, which costs 36 DKK.
- Taxi: the trip will cost approximately 520 DKK during weekdays and around 600 DKK during and on bank holidays. The duration of the trip is about 40 minutes.
Copenhagen Central Station
- Bus 25 and Metro: Take bus 25 from the bus stop Oceankaj towards Østerport Station. Get off at Orientkaj metro station and take M4 towards Kongens Nytorv directly to Copenhagen Central Station (Københavns Hovedbanegård). The duration of the trip is approximately 30 minutes. You will need a valid 2-zone ticket. The price is 24 DKK.
- Bus 164 and Metro: Take bus 164 (runs all year round) towards Ballerup St. Get off at Orientkaj metro station and take M4 towards Kongens Nytorv directly to Copenhagen Central Station (Københavns Hovedbanegård). The duration of the trip is approximately 30 minutes. You will need a valid 2-zone ticket. The price is 24 DKK.
- Taxi: the trip will cost approximately 320 DKK on weekdays and about 360 DKK during weekends and on bank holidays. The duration of the journey is about 30 minutes.
Copenhagen City Centre
When going to Copenhagen City Center, you can either choose to go to Nørreport, Kongens Nytorv or Copenhagen Central Station (find directions above).
Nørreport
- Bus 25 and train: Nørreport can be reached in the summer period by taking bus number 25 from the bus stop at Ocean Quay towards Østerport station. Get off at Østerport Station and take the S-train in the direction Køge, Høje Taastrup, Frederikssund, Farum or Hillerød (lines A, B, C, E or H) and get off at Nørreport Station. You will need a valid 2-zone ticket. The price is 24 DKK.
- Taxi: the trip will cost approx. 270 DKK on weekdays and about 300 DKK at the weekend and on bank holidays. The duration of the journey is about 20 minutes.
Kongens Nytorv
- Bus 25 and Metro: Take bus 25 from the bus stop Oceankaj towards Østerport Station. Get off at Orientkaj metro station and take M4 directly to Kongens Nytorv. The duration of the trip is approximately 20 minutes.
- Bus 164 and Metro: Take bus 164 (which runs all year round) towards Ballerup St. Get off at Orientkaj metro station and take M4 directly to Kongens Nytorv. The duration of the trip is approximately 20 minutes.
- Taxi: the trip will cost approx. 270 DKK on weekdays and about 300 DKK at the weekend and on bank holidays. The duration of the journey is about 20 minutes.

Getting to and from Nordre Tolbod
Copenhagen Airport
- Bus 27 and Metro: Take bus 27 from the bus stop Indiakaj and get off at Kongens Nytorv. Then take the Metro line M2 towards Copenhagen Airport. The duration of the trip is approximately 40 minutes. You will need a valid 3-zone ticket. The price is 36 DKK.
- Taxi: the trip will cost approximately 450 DKK on weekdays and around 550 DKK at the weekend and on bank holidays. The duration of the trip is about 35 minutes.
Copenhagen Central Station
- Bus 27 and train: Take bus 27 from the bus stop Indiakaj and get off at Østerport Station. Then take the S-train in the direction Køge, Høje Taastrup, Frederikssund, Farum or Hillerød (lines A, B, C, E or H) and get off at København H. (Copenhagen Central Station). The duration of the trip is approximately 20 minutes. You will need a valid 2-zone ticket. The price is 24 DKK.
- Bus 27 and metro:Take bus 27 from the bus stop Indiakaj and get off at Østerport Station. Then take the metroline M3 or M4 towards Kongens Nytorv and get off at Copenhagen Central Station (Københavns Hovedbanegård).The duration of the trip is approximately 20 minutes. - Taxi: the trip will cost approximately 210 DKK and 225 DKK during weekends and on bank holidays. The duration of the trip is about 20 minutes.
Copenhagen City Centre
When going to Copenhagen City Center, you can either choose to go to Copenhagen Central Station (directions can be found above) Nørreport or Kongens Nytorv.
Nørreport
- Bus 27 and train: Nørreport can be reached by taking bus 27 from Indiakaj to Østerport Station. Then take the S-train in the direction Køge, Høje Taastrup, Frederikssund, Farum or Hillerød (lines A, B, C, E or H) and get off at Nørreport Station. The duration of the trip is approximately 15 minutes. You will need a valid 2-zone ticket. The price is 24 DKK.
Kongens Nytorv
- Bus 27 and metro: Kongens Nytorv kan be reached by taking bus 27 from Indiakaj to Østerport Station. Then take the metroline M3 or M4 to Kongens Nytorv.The duration of the trip is approximately 15 minutes. You will need a valid 2-zone ticket. The price is 24 DKK.
- Taxi: the trip costs approximately 150 DKK on weekdays and 175 DKK in the weekends and on bank holidays. The duration of the journey is 15 minutes.
- Hop on Hop Off: You can also choose to take a Hop on Hop off bus that stops at Langelinie. The Hop on Hop off bus stops at among others Nyhavn, Amalienborg Palace, Tivoli, etc. The price is 199 DKK and is valid in 72 hours. Read more about the Hop on Hop off bus here.
Getting to and From Langelinje
Copenhagen Airport
- Walk and metro: Walk 14 minutes to Marmorkirken metro station and take the metroline M3 or M4 to Kongens Nytorv. Change at Kongens Nytorv and take the metroline M2 to Copenhagen Airport. The duration of the trip is approximately 35 minutes. You will need a valid 3-zone ticket. The price is 36 DKK.
- Taxi: the trips cost approximately 375 DKK on weekdays and 450 DKK during weekends and on bank holidays. The duration of the journey is 30 minutes.
Copenhagen Central Station
- Metro: Walk 14 minutes to Marmorkirken metro station and take the metroline M3 or M4 towards Kongens Nytorv directly to Copenhagen Central Station (Københavns Hovedbanegård). You will need a valid 2-zone ticket. The price is 24 DKK.
- Taxi: the trip costs approximately 170 DKK on weekdays and 200 DKK during weekends and on bank holidays. The duration of the journey is 20 minutes.
Copenhagen City Centre
You are close to the city center at Nordre Toldbod, but if you do not want to walk, you can choose one of the following options:
- Metro to Nørreport: Walk 14 minutes to Marmorkirken metro station and take the metroline M3 or M4 towards Kongens Nytorv. Change at Kongens Nytorv to the M1 or M2 metroline towards Nørreport Station. The duration of the journey is 25 minutes. You will need a valid 2-zone ticket. The price is 24 DKK.
- Hop On Hop Off: You can also walk to Langelinie and take a Hop on Hop off bus that among others stops at Nyhavn, Amalienborg Palace, Tivoli, etc. The price is 199 DKK. Read more about the Hop on Hop off bus here.
- Taxi: You are already in the city center, but if you do not want to walk, a taxi to e.g., Nørreport will cost approx. 140 DKK on weekdays and 175 DKK during weekends and on bank holidays. The duration of the trip is approximately 10 minutes.

Car parks near the cruise terminals
Ocean Quay
It it is possible to use the public car park located approx. 50-100 metres from the ships. There is room for approx. 200 cars, and you have to pay. No advance reservation is possible. Prices:
08:00 - 16:00: DKK 16 per hour
16:00 - 08:00: DKK 8 per hour
Maximum DKK 80 per day (calendar days 00-24) or DKK 560 per week.
Langelinie and Nordre Toldbod
Unfortunately, there is no long-term parking at Langelinie and Nordre Toldbod. If you are boarding your cruise ship here, the nearest indoor car park is in Dronningens Tværgade 4, 1302 Copenhagen. Price: DKK 320 per day.
