On the 8th floor of NH Collection Copenhagen in Christianshavn, ROOF opens up over the harbour towards the city's spires and rooftops – one of Copenhagen's most striking vantage points for a sundowner. The hotel occupies a 1962 building that was renovated and reopened in 2021, its original modernist silhouette carefully preserved.
Each summer season, the cocktail menu is renewed, drawing inspiration from the view: signature drinks named after the Round Tower, the Marble Church and the Royal Theatre, with each cocktail’s colour, glassware and presentation inspired by the landmark itself.
On the food side, expect an ambitious selection of elegant small plates, made for sharing and crafted with a clear focus on quality, flavour and detail. Carefully selected ingredients and refined combinations create a menu designed to complement the views, the drinks and the relaxed atmosphere.

ROOF is open seasonally from April to October, Monday to Saturday. Book ahead – the terrace is a popular spot, and seats go fast.
