Refshaleøen

Refshaleøen is Copenhagen's new hip area which is constantly developing.

Just a 15-minute bike ride from inner Copenhagen you will find Refshaleøen.It was once home to one of the world's largest shipyards, B&W. The raw and industrial look has been retained, but new measures have been added, which causes both locals and tourists to flock to the island.

Refshaleøen houses some of Denmark's best restaurants, such as Noma and Alchemist. You can also find several cozy bars and cafes, including Mikkeller Baghaven and La Banchina. The island also offers various sports halls and extreme sports activities as well as creative office communities and it is also here that you will find the popular street food market Reffen, which is open throughout the summer season.

In addition, there are always a lot of events and festivals taking place on Refshaleøen. Stay updated on the website: refshaleoen.dk or check out our Guide to Refshaleøen for inspiration.
