Designed by the Danish design brand &Tradition, the restaurant is shaped by earthy tones, dark wood and soft textures, creating a space with understated elegance that feels both homely and sophisticated. It’s a room that invites hotel guests, locals and curious passers-by to slip in for a quiet breakfast, a glass of wine over lunch or a delightful dinner.

The kitchen is led by Manchester-born chef Alex Wood, whose experience includes time at Admiralgade 26 and Ved Stranden 10. At Petra, he unfolds a modern, international style with a focus on detail, beautiful plating and surprising flavour combinations. The menu is small, thoughtful and visually enticing – a curated selection of dishes that change with the seasons and always offer something inventive.

The restaurant features both an intimate dining room and a relaxed lounge opposite the kitchen, where the atmosphere is as inviting as the food itself. Petra Bar & Restaurant has also been awarded a Bib Gourmand by the Michelin Guide, a mark of quality recognising their ability to deliver flavourful, ambitious dishes at an accessible price.
