Harbour Bath Stubkaj
In 2025, a new and lovely bathing zone in Copenhagen opened under the name Stubkaj. More specifically, it is a dipping zone – an inviting wooden pier has been built with an opening down to the water, where you can take a refreshing dip all year round. The pier also invites visitors to sit back, enjoy the view, and perhaps catch a ray of sunshine right by the water.
In summer, Stubkaj is an ideal stop on a warm day, where you can quickly cool off after a bike ride or a walk along the harbour. As temperatures drop, the spot transforms into a popular gathering place for winter swimmers seeking the crisp, cold experience and the sense of community that comes with the icy plunge.
The area is simply designed with easy access to the water in the form of a swimming ladder, making it easy to get both in and out again. This makes the dipping zone an informal and accessible place where you can take a quick break from the pace of the city and experience Copenhagen’s harbour up close.
