Furesø Golf Club

Furesø Golf Club is beautifully located north of Copenhagen and features a course with 27 challenging and newly renovated holes.

Furesø Golf Club is located just north of Copenhagen and is known as one of the largest golf clubs in Denmark. The club is beautifully situated in protected, scenic surroundings steeped in history. At the heart of the estate lies the historic Hestkøbgaard, a former farmhouse dating back to the 14th century. Lovingly preserved, the building today houses both the clubhouse and the on-site restaurant and bistro, Restaurant Hestekøbgaard. Here, guests can enjoy everything from light lunches to elegant dinners, either in the charming, historical dining rooms or out on the terrace, which offers stunning views of the English-inspired parkland and the club’s 27 newly renovated and challenging holes. Throughout the summer season, the club also hosts a variety of cozy jazz and barbecue events on the terrace.

In 2025, Furesø Golf Club will serve as host for the DP World Tour, an annual international golf series. The DP World Tour includes a wide range of tournaments held across various countries around the world — including Denmark. One of the tour’s most prominent Danish events is the Danish Golf Championship, which takes place every August. In 2025, this prestigious tournament will be held at Furesø Golf Club, featuring approximately 156 players from across the globe. The DP World Tour attracts elite golfers from all over the world and remains a key fixture on the professional golf calendar.
