The Forest Tower - Camp Adventure

The hourglass-shaped Forest Tower is 45 meters high and the platform at the top is 135 meters above sea level. This makes it the highest accessible point in all of Zealand. From the top, you can see 25 km across the landscape of South Zealand and if you look north on a clear day, you can see all the way to the Øresund Bridge, the Turning Torso in Malmö and parts of the Copenhagen skyline.

The walk up through the 12 circles of the spiral in the Forest Tower provides a unique experience of nature from new perspectives. During the ascent, you are surrounded by the forest, and you get close enough to the three beech trees preserved in the center of the tower to touch them. As you venture further up and out of the dense forest, you'll feel the wind in your face as you encounter a 360-degree view of the forests, vast fields, and towns of the South Zealand landscape.

The walk out to the Forest Tower takes place via a 900 m long boardwalk in the forest, where you can experience Camp Adventure's climbing park up close and at the same time experience the forest and the beautiful nature in which the Forest Tower is located. Along the way, there are several lookout points where you can sit down and enjoy a quiet moment in nature.

The Forest Tower is a unique building and a must-see for architecture enthusiasts. Designed by EFFEKT Architects, it won several international awards even before it opened. The main structure is made of maintenance-free Corten steel and local South Zealand oak from Bregentved Gods and Gisselfeld Kloster.
