Den Lille Franske
Den Lille Franske on Frederiksberg is an atmospheric hideaway where natural wine, French delicacies, and a sense of togetherness blend seamlessly. The owners have created a place that feels like a little piece of Paris in the heart of the city; a spot where taste and community take center stage.
The wine bar and eatery is located on the charming corner of Godthåbsvej 32, right across from Aksel Møllers Have Metro. As soon as you step inside, you’re greeted by warm colors, antique details, and glowing candlelight, all combining to create a calm and inviting atmosphere.
Wine is the heart of Den Lille Franske. Since 2011, the place has imported organic, biodynamic, and natural wines, and the hosts happily share their knowledge and passion. It’s all about tasting, exploring, and enjoying in good company. The venue is also known for its many events: jazz evenings, wine tastings, DJ sessions, and cozy gatherings where the atmosphere, food, and wine come together beautifully.
The menu is simple but carefully curated. Here you’ll find the very best of French cuisine: crisp tarts, creamy rillette, charcuterie, local cheeses, and their irresistible truffle croque monsieur. They also serve varied boards with French delicacies – perfect companions to a nice glass of wine.
Den Lille Franske is also a wine shop, with shelves filled with well‑chosen bottles from their own import. You can bring a few home and continue the French feeling at home.
