ÅBEN

In the pulsating Meatpacking District you'll find ÅBEN, who brew their own beer and serve it between the beer tanks.

The Meat Packing district - or Kødbyen in Danish - is a very special place where the old industrial flavour shines through everything that is located there. This is no exception at ÅBEN, which has still managed to stand out from the crowd and become a very special gem in the middle of the old butcher's premises.

In addition to being a bar in Kødbyen, ÅBEN is also a brewery. That's why the home-brewed beer is flowing through the taps, and it couldn't be fresher. As soon as the beer is ready, it is sent into the taps. While you enjoy your beer, you have a view of the brewery, as it is located in the same room. This gives a very special atmosphere of being there where it all happens, and it feels special to be able to follow the process from malt to beer.

Every Thursday to Saturday, ÅBEN collaborates with different kitchens that do pop-ups. You can, therefore get a solid and delicious meal over those days and make it both a great culinary and beer experience.
