The Jeffery

The Jeffery is a British pub, founded by Matthew Jeffery and named after him. Here, they have created a place where classic British pub culture meets Copenhagen charm.

The Jeffery serves their very own beer, The Samuel Jeffery, a house cask ale brewed in Nørrebro just a few hundred metres from the pub – and one you won’t find anywhere else in the world.

The menu is packed with British favourites such as Bangers & Mash, Scotch Egg, Fish & Chips and Steak & Ale Pie, all served in surroundings that radiate warmth and comfort. The interior offers cosy nooks, inviting materials and plenty of space for both small and large groups. Downstairs you’ll find darts and a pool table, and in the former bank building designed by the iconic Danish architect Arne Jacobsen, guests can step into the original vault to watch sport.

They serve both Danish and English beers – and of course Guinness in authentic Guinness glasses. All other beers come in a classic Imperial Pint of 568 ml. With five screens placed throughout the pub, you can follow the sport no matter where you sit, and they maintain an atmosphere that’s lively without ever feeling overwhelming.

The Jeffery is a place where British tradition, craftsmanship and local character come together in one complete experience.
