For disabled travellers
Practical information for disabled visitors.
Relevant websites to help you plan your trip
We have gathered websites where dedicated people strive to help travelers with disabilities obtain the necessary information before their visit.
God Adgang
God Adgang provides information about accessibility conditions in Denmark, allowing you to obtain a detailed description of Access Denmark-registered places, buildings, and outdoor areas, before you visit. On their website, you can search for the specific place or the area you want to visit.
AutismGoTo
AustismGoTo aims to help people with autism get out and have positive experiences. On their website, you can read autism-friendly, social presentations of various places in Copenhagen, such as museums, theaters, and other attractions. Unfortunately, most of the presentations are in Danish, but we hope you have a browser that can translate.
The Hidden Disabilities Sunflower
In Denmark, like many other countries, we also use the Hidden Disabilities Sunflower. The sunflower keychain is a symbol that indicates the person wearing it has a disability or condition that may not be immediately apparent. You can get the Sunflower keychain for free at most supermarkets and cultural attractions in Copenhagen. You can also pick one up at the airport.
