The yellow harbour buses takes you up and down the harbour on a regular bus ticket.
Not only are the harbour busses an efficient means of public transportation in Copenhagen, it's also a beautiful way to see the city from the waterside.
For the price of a normal bus ticket, you can get from Sluseholmen in south and all the way to Refshaleøen in the northernmost end of the harbour going through Copenhagen.
The harbour bus route consists of 9 stops located on each side of the water, as the yellow ferries zig-zag between places like The Royal Librabry, Islands Brygge, Nyhavn and other places where you can get off and explore.
When the ferries are not too crowded, you can bring your bike along making your sightseeing tour of Copenhagen even more seamless.
Please note that the harbour busses have two different route numbers:
- Havnebus 991 - direction: Teglholmen (south)
- Havnebus 992 - direction: Refshaleøen (north)
