”Teamwork and long-lasting friendships” is the Copenhagen slogan, which reflects the importance of both efficiency and personal relationships in the destination’s work with the cruise industry. With this in mind and for the fourth year in a row, Cruise Copenhagen Network (CCN) has announced its 2014 Ambassador Award in Miami.
Recipient Shirley Henderson received her award from Søren Jespersen, Chairman of CCN (left in picture); and Peter Lundqvist from BDP (right in picture). Speaking at the presentation Søren Jespersen said: “The Cruise Copenhagen Network Ambassador Award is presented annually to a personality, who has been an active part of placing Copenhagen, or Denmark on the global cruise map. Shirley has greatly assisted us in achieving our mission of bringing cruise business to our part of the Baltic Sea region.”
Shirley responded: “What an honour it is to have received this award and I am highly delighted to have been voted for by the CCN partners. This serves to demonstrate the excellent relationship between our Carnival brands and the network and I am fully confident that we will continue to go from strength to strength, working together in the future.”
