Q: Are there any public transportation available from the cruise port?

A: Yes. You can read more about the public transportation to and from the three cruise ports here.

Q: Are there taxis always available at the cruise ports?

A: Yes there are taxis available at the cruise ports. We recommend the following taxi companies Taxi 4x27 Amager-Øbro (+45 2727 2727) and 4x48 TaxiNord (+45 4848 4848). Normally there are taxis at the different cruise terminals but because of great activity at the quays, you must expect some waiting time.

Q: How much does a taxi cost from the cruise terminal to the city center and how long does it take?

A: From Ocean Quay, a taxi to Nyhavn costs approx. 150 DKK on week days and approx. 190 DKK during the weekend and on bank holidays. The duration of the trip is approx. 20 minutes. When you arrive at Langelinie, you will find yourself rather close to the city center. If you want to go by taxi you can reach Nyhavn in 10 minutes and the price of the trip will be approx. 90 DKK on week days and 110 DKK during the weekend and on bank holidays. When you arrive at Nordre Toldbod, you are already in the city center, where you will find lots of interesting sights and attractions within walking distance. Read more about how to get around in Copenhagen and estimated taxi prices from the cruise terminals to the airport and the central station here

Q: Can I walk from the cruise port to the City Center and the different attractions?

A: If you arrive at Langelinie or Nordre Toldbod, you are fairly close to the City Center and close to e.g. the Little Mermaid. If you arrive at Ocean Quay we would advise you to take a taxi, public transport or the Cruiseshuttle bus to the City Center, as Ocean Quay is located further North from the City. The distance from e.g. Ocean Quay to Nørreport Station (which is one of the most central train station in Copenhagen) is 7 kilometers / 4.3 miles and would take more than an hour to walk.

A: Yes, there is a stop at Langelinie port and another at the Little Mermaid, which is close to Nordre Toldbod. For prices, timetable and a map of the bus stops please read more here.
