Summer is on in Copenhagen. The sun is shining, the Copenhageners are spending all their spare time outside and the ice cream shops are as busy as ever. July is a month full of nice things to do in Copenhagen - you just need to get started. Anna, our student worker, has picked five things she'd love to do this month:
Copenhagen is full of music festivals every summer, and 2018 is no exception. Here. you can join the Copenhageners and experience everything from jazz to blues to heavy metal. My heart has been set on Roskilde Festival on the first week of July, but I'm counting on joining a few more as the festivals spread out all over the summer.
Copenhagen has so much to offer and there is always a new, unexplored place to visit. Right now the Refshaleøen Island is the up and coming part of Copenhagen. An old industrial island that was once home to one of the world's largest shipyards, B&W. Refshaleøen is now home to cozy restaurants, cool bars, great water views, activity centres, and delicious street food ready to be explored.
If you just want to stay within Copenhagen, you should spend the perfect summer day in Copenhagen. With everything from ice cream (of course), over a dip in the ocean to a sunset dinner on a rooftop. And one of the nice things about Copenhagen is the short distance - nothing is ever far away.
