Live music

Just as Copenhagen focuses on fashion and culture, so does the city have a sweet spot for music. Festivals such as Jazz, Blues, Distortion and Roskilde take over the city to celebrate music and all that goes with it. Artists such as Medina, Alphabeat, Trentemøller and of course Metallica’s Lars Ulrich have broken through internationally, despite Denmark’s tiny size. Venues like VEGA are amongst Europe’s best. Both the Concert House and the Opera House are architecturally stunning and musically inspiring. Intimate live venues and funky electronic clubs are plentiful. Copenhagen is the perfect destination for a city vacation with great music and nightlife options.
