The Corner 108 - a coffee bar during the day and a wine bar at night
Literally on the corner of the Michelin-starred restaurant 108, a little brother to the world-famous Noma, you will find The Corner 108. A small, light and hip restaurant serving freshly brewed coffee, winner of The 2018 White Guide's coffee experience, along with homemade sourdough bread and amazing Danish pastries. Not like the ones you know, these are with untraditional glaze like coffee kombucha, fermented beef or blackcurrants.
During the day, the restaurant changes into a wine bar with more than 600 different wines to accompany shareable snacks and dishes. These are also not the usual snacks that come to mind. Here you can order things like crispy and chewy Jerusalem artichokes, raw lamb tartare with smoked egg yolk sauce or a sorbet of wild blackcurrant with hazelnut milk. To top it all, the service is also extraordinary. It is very clear that the staff is very passionate about their work and all have a huge knowledge about their area of expertise: wine, coffee, bread and so on. You will also be able to attend different events like beer releases, champagne- or wine tastings. The latter every Thursday night. The Corner 108 is a place, you almost don't want to leave again.
