Copenhagen is a royal city, and home to one of the world's oldest monarchies. In and around the city you will find castles, palaces, royal statues and monuments. Here are 8 you should see.

Every day at 12:00 noon you can witness the changing of the Royal Danish Guard. The Guard leaves its barracks at Rosenborg Castle at approximately 11:30 and marches through the city to Amalienborg Palace, residence of the Danish Royal Couple; His Majesty King Frederik X and Her Majesty Queen Mary.
