You will soon discover that one of the great joys of Copenhagen is its compact size, which means that most of its main sights and attractions can be seen on foot.

The sheer density of attractions within the city means that organised tours are often a good way to make the most of a short visit and there are plenty of walking, boat, bicycle and bus tours to choose from.

Furthermore, outside the city dozens of other sights and attractions await you.

And, of course, do not forget to pay a visit to Copenhagen's most famous daughter, the Little Mermaid who lives just a short walk from the city centre by the sea at Langelinie.
