Rope Ferry
In Frederiksberg Have (Garden) there is a lake with a small island in the middle. This island is called Andebakke, and is breeding ground for herons. Because of this, access to the island is limited to August, September and October. A rope ferry connected the island with the rest of the park but was given up in the 1830's. This small vessel has now been re-established and you are free to try pulling yourself over to the island and back Sundays between 2pm and 4pm from 6 August to 22 October
