One of the best ways to really get close to the sights is by joining a guided bycicle tour. Gliding through the traffic is safe and relaxing, there are no hills to contend with, and the distances in the inner city are very reasonable.

If you prefer others to do the work, you can try a ride in a rickshaw with room for up to three persons.(Three if you're slim, two persons is the ideal). The Flying Tigers offers various routes through the old part of Copenhagen or you can choose your own route. One hour - DKK 300.

At 90% of the Copenhagen Hotels, bicycles are available for rent through Copenhagen Tours. Price for one day is DKK 100.-. See link below. Copenhagen Tours also offer guided bicycle tours daily at 10:15 am from Vodrofsvej 55 B.

Free City Bikes

It can also be great fun to see Copenhagen on a free City Bike. These are available in numerous bike stands within the Copenhagen city area.

Note that the use of the free city bikes is limited to central Copenhagen and only between 1 May and 15 December.
