Fælledparken

Fælledparken is best known for its May 1 meetings and speeches. But there is more to it, like a paddling pool, lots of room for picnics and ball games, a petanque course, a football field, a giant chessboard, a stage, a cafe and a fun traffic playground with real traffic lights and road signs for the kids. And then there is the 4,000 square metre Sense Garden behind Trianglens post office with sculptures that you can touch, a fountain and an alphabet labyrinth which all appeal to the kids' imagination.
Natural playgrounds
North of Copenhagen by Tisvildeleje you will find plenty of challenges for the kids' imagination at Sankt Helene Natural Playground. Not far from there in Tisvilde Hegn is the funny Troldeskov (Troll Forest) crowded with funny, crooked climbing trees which can be hard to resist. Walk along the exciting experience path, which has been built by kids from Helsinge, artists and forest folk.
King's Garden
Visit the beautiful park with adventurous and artistic playground for the kids with carved wooden figures and Rosenborg Castle in the background. Close to the playground you will find bathrooms and a cafe that sells ice cream, sandwiches and drinks. For the big spender there is the biodynamic gourmet restaurant Geranium, which is managed by chef Rasmus Kofoed, in the eastern part of the park. During summer there is also a free open-air puppet show for kids in the ages six to ten years old.
Botanical Garden

Copenhagen has its own jungle with exotic flowers and plants. Walk along twisted green paths around plants and trees from all over the world. One of the highlights is definitely the growth house and the glasshouse where you can see carnivorous plants.
