Take the Metro - only 15 minutes to city centreMetro med mennesker
The Copenhagen Metro is the world's most modern, and in September 2007 a new stretch between Copenhagen airport and city centre opened - to the benefit of both visitors and locals. It only takes 15 minutes to get from the airport to Kongens Nytorv in the heart of the city, but of course you can also get off at a number of other stations, like Christianshavn and Nørreport or continue all the way to the final stop, Vanløse.

The driverless Metro trains operates at four - six minutes' intervals during the day and evening hours and every 15 minutes during the night. The Metro operates from 5am until midnight. Thurday - Sunday the Metro operates round the clock.

Metro ticket or CPHCARD
Tickets for the Metro are available at the Metro station and at the DSB ticket sales counter in Terminal 3. Please note that the ticket machines do not accept notes, only coins and cards such as the Dankort, VISA, etc. If you purchase a CPHCARD it also gives you free transportation on the Metro.
