It may be that Copenhagen is known for its cold climate, but minus 5 degrees centigrade all year hasn't been seen before. This is, however, the temperature at the bar concept ABSOLUT ICEBAR, where everything from furniture to the glasses is made of ice, who just opened in downtown Copenhagen.

With an all year five degrees below zero, walls, bar, art and furniture made of crystal clear ice, Copenhagen kan now offer an ice cold experience. Copenhagen's coolest bar is situated only a few steps from the City Hall Square in the heart of Copenhagen.
The ABSOLUT ICEBAR concept is already known in Stockholm, Milan, London and Tokyo - and common for these bars is the unique experience of stepping into an ice crystal. Interior, scultures and other art created out of ice, which has been brought here from Torne Älv in Northern Sweden. Even the glass you drink of is made og ice.
On with your mittens
ABSOLUT ICEBAR COPENHAGEN is placed at Copenhagen Hotel 27, the lifestyle hotel. There will be room for 50 thirsty guests at a time and you can be sure that even during the summer months, you will always be able to find a cool retreat in the heart of town. Should you feel too cold, there will be warm coats and gloves at your disopsal.
Fokus on ice art and vodkas
Admission will be DKK 150, which includes thermo clothing and one drink. The guaranteed ice cold drinks served in the bar are based on ABSOLUT VODKA, which together with ICEHOTEL in Jukkasjärvi, Northern Sweden is behind this unique concept. Another important part of the experience is the ice art surrounding you at ABSOLUTE ICEBAR. Twice a year new artists create scultpures for the bar out of the crystal clear ice from the Swedish river.
