Copenhagen's Metro now runs day and night, also during the week. That means you can travel around the clock with public transportation in Copenhagen.
Up until now, the Copenhagen Metro has been running around the clock Fridays and Saturdays and during daytime the rest of the week. But now you can take the Metro every day around the clock - to the delight of both Copenhageners and visitors. Thus the Copenhagen Metro joins a small exclusive club of Metro systems in the world which operates around the clock throughout the week.
New Metro timetable
The Copenhagen Metro runs every 20 minutes during the night after Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Between 01:00 - 01:30 and 04:00 -04:30 you will have to wait a little longer, as the trains switch from nighttime to daytime operation and vice versa. The night after Friday and Saturday there will be normal operation every quarter.
