Par i TivoliThe Tivoli opening is a sure sign of summer in Copenhagen. The gates to the Gardens is now open for season no. 168.

This summer Tivoli has several new activities to offer its guests - actually more than ever.

Probably most spectacular is The Little Mermaid's "sister" replacing her, while she is visiting EXPO 2010 in Shanghai. But also the new universe of the renowned Danish cartoon character Petzi and the summer festival hosted by The Tivoli Concet Hall will surely make it a good Tivoli summer.

A private copy goes public
Although The Little Mermaid has left Denmark in order to participate in the world exhibition Expo 2010 in Shanghai, guests will still be able to see the world famous sculpture in Copenhagen.

Descendants of the artist, who sculpted The Little Mermaid, have generously lent the family's private copy of the mermaid to the amusement park the Tivoli Gardens.

Tivoli, Rasmus Klump foran NimbThe "sister" of the Little Mermaid will be placed in the Tivoli Lake with the City Hall Tower serving as a scenic background.

Petzi's World
The loveable character Petzi is present in the childhood memory of all Danes. The renowned Danish cartoon character moves into Tivoli Gardens and gets his very own universe where children of all ages are welcome to come and enjoy more than 40 activities based on Petzi's adventures.

Tivolis KoncertsalThe Tivoli Concert Hall
Each summer, from early May to early September, the Tivoli Concert Hall hosts a summer festival that embraces classical music as well as rock, jazz etc. This season, the Tivoli Concert Hall presents world known classical singers and musicians such as Vadim Repin, Richard Goode, Nicola Benedetti, Cecilia Bartoli, Arcadi Volodos, András Schiff, Rolando Villazon, Joshua Bell, Evgeny Kissin, Jonas Kaufmann and Thomas Hampson, besides legendary Elvis Costello and his wife, jazz diva Diana Krall, who will perform at two separate concerts.
The entrance fee to Tivoli is included in the concert ticket.
