Bakken is open

The World's oldest amusement park Bakken is open for the summer.

It is the 427th summer season of Bakken, the oldest amusement park of the world. That means funrides, icecream and cabaret show -  and you are invited.

This year's summer programme offers lots of events - some for kids and some for mom and dad.

Laughter, dogshow and beer festival
This year you can experience The Great Nordic Challenge, where the Nordic countries compete in alternative national disciplines, The World Day of Laughter, The Big Beer Festival, Dogshow, The International Strongman Champions League and more. And the entrance is still free to all of it.

Danish popular culture
Bakken is dating back to 1583. Nestled in green environments just outside Copenhagen the amusement park of today is a prime example of genuine, Danish popular culture. This unusual organizational structure gives Bakken a special, non-streamlined character distinguished by a relaxed atmosphere.

The summer season runs until 31 Aug 2010.
