Bonfires are lit all over Copenhagen 23 June at Midsummer's Eve, so go find your spot to celebrate and sing together with the Copenhageners.
Louisiana Museum of Modern Art at Humlebæk
From 18:00 - 23:00 Louisiana will celebrate Midsummer's Eve in the sculpture park with entertainment and a bon-fire on the beach. Louisiana is situated around 40 minutes by train from Copenhagen overlooking the coast of Sweden.
Nyhavn
Celebration of Sankt Hans Eve in the old harbour - jazz at 16:00, speach at 21:45 and bonfire at 22:00
Blågårds Plads, Nørrebro
Here Midsummer's Eve is celebrated from 16:00 - 23:45 - music, barbecue and bonfire. Check the program here (in Danish only).
Amager strand/Beach
Sankt Hans Eve party's along the beach with bar, grill and entertainment from 15:00 - 23:00. The evening is hosted by Copenhagen Pride and bonfires around 20.00.
Bakken
At the amusement park Bakken, Sankt Hans Eve will be celebrated with bonfires, fireworks and music. S-train Line C to Klampenborg Station. Bon-fire at 22:00.
Frederiksberg Have/Garden
On the lawn just behind the Frederiksberg Palace.
Bon-fire, sing-along, brass band entertainment and solo performances the entire evening from 19:00 - 23:00. The fire will be lit at around 21:30.
Tivoli Gardens
Bon-fire on the lake in Tivoli - the ceremony starts at 21:30. Admission free for Tivoli guests.
Midsummer's Eve at Langebro
Right on Langebro you will find a party at Kayak Republic. Here you will be served an Argentinian BBQ at 19:00 and the bonfire will be lit at 20.30. From 21.00 pm you can listen to live music and later DJs and party.
Traktørstedet on Vestamager
At Traktørstedet by Naturcenter Vestamager you will find one of the city's coziest and most child-friendly Midsummer events. The place is within a walking distance from the Vestamager Metro Station in Ørestad.
Fælledparken
Café Pavillonen celebrate the summer evening with music and dance in a Copenhagen park in Copenhagen. Check cafe-pavillonen.dk for updates on the program (in Danish only).
Halvandet
At Halvandet you have a beautiful view by the waterfront at Refshaleøen. Barbecue is from 16:00 pm, DJ from 18:00 pm and the bonfire is lit at 22:00 pm.
Midsummer at Grønningen
In Ørestad you can enjoy the Midsummer's Eve from 17:00. Grønningen is the large park in Ørestad situated between Islands Brygge and DR City Metro Stations.
Ofelia Beach
The Admiral Hotel and The Royal Danish Playhouse have planned for the bonfire, the traditional community rendition of "Midsummer Ballad" and a bonfire speech. Simultaneously with the Midsummer celebrations, the EURO 2012 quarter finals will be transmitted and Ofelia Beach will reverberate with supporters' singing.
