Copenhagen hotels are often found high up on international top rankings. Here is a selection of the placings this year:

Hotel NIMB is hot
Hotel NIMB in Copenhagen features on Condé Nast Traveller's 'The Hot List 2009' of the world's best hotels.

The reasons include, among other things, that, "NIMB has Copenhagen's most beautiful rooms, most elegant bar, and one of the finest and best restaurants. NIMB is centrally located, across from Copenhagen's Central Station, but also has direct access to the famous Tivoli Gardens, to which the hotel's guests of course have free access during the season."

The Consumer News and Business Channel has ranked the First Hotel Skt Petri***** third on its list of Europe's 25 best business hotels.

In contrast to previous years, this year CNBC Business has chosen also to emphasise whether or not hotel guests get good value for money. And CNBC has cited, among other things, First Hotel Skt Petri's reasonable prices, central location and lively cocktail bar as the reasons behind the hotel's ranking on the list.

Hilton - the Best Business Hotel in Denmark
The British Business Destination's trade magazine has again chosen to honour the best in the industry with the help of its readers. Hilton Copenhagen Airport***** won in the category: Best Business Hotel - Denmark - 2009.

Hilton Copenhagen Airport has previously won the Danish Travel award for ‘Denmark's Best Hotel Chain' in 2001, 2002 and 2006; and the ‘Best Hotel in Denmark' in 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2007 and 2008.

Denmark's oldest hotel, Hotel D'Angleterre*****, has been named Best Luxury Hotel in Denmark by the readers of the renowned English travel magazine Overseas Living, adding to its prestigious four-time award as "Denmark's Leading Hotel" at the World Travel Awards.

Radisson Blu - best business hotels in the North
Nordic business travellers have voted Radisson Blu as the best hotel chain in the North, the sixth year in a row that Radisson Blu has topped the Nordic Hotel Business Guest Survey.

The survey was carried out by the UK-based consultancy firm, BDRC, which interviewed 1,000 business travellers from Norway, Sweden, Finland and Denmark.
