Low-cost hotel soon to open its doors

Construction of Arp-Hansen Hotel Group’s new low-cost concept is progressing rapidly and Wakeup Copenhagen opens its doors for the first guests already in autumn 2009. The hotel will be a neighbour to Tivoli Hotel and Tivoli Congress Center, which open next year.

Wakeup Copenhagen opens with 510 rooms on the newly established Kalvebod Allé in autumn 2009 and will be a whole new hotel concept in ArDrawing of Wake Up Copenhagen hotel - by Arp-Hansenp-Hansen Hotel Group's portfolio of hotels in central Copenhagen. A new choice for guests who want to combine overnight stays with quick, comfortable quality.

Arp-Hansen Hotel Group's 10th hotel, Wakeup Copenhagen, will not only be the concern's largest hotel but also a new low-cost hotel with attractive prices. In keeping with the low-cost airlines, Wakeup Copenhagen will offer a certain number of rooms in each price category and the room is paid for at the time of reservation on the Internet.

High quality - low prices

For the price-conscious and smart guest, Wakeup Copenhagen offers cool and modern design in modest-sized rooms from 12 - 15 sq. meters, all with own toilet and shower, air-conditioning, flat-screen TV with a wide selection of channels, a good-sized desk and free wWakeup Standard Room - By Arp-Hansenireless Internet.

The hotel, which will be totally non-smoking, will offer both allergy-friendly rooms with wooden floors and the possibility of connecting rooms plus rooms with three beds. In other words, a hotel product which can measure itself against many of Copenhagen's 3-star hotels, but which in terms of prices, is at the 2-star level.

Furthermore, the hotel will offer a trendy and cosy lobby, with 24-hour possibilities to purchase drinks, sandwiches, cakes and snacks, together with a high-tech business center where checking e-mails and other work-related tasks can be done.

Faithful to Arp-Hansen Hotel Group's philosophy for running hotels - a unique building at a unique location creates a unique hotel -famous architect Kim Utzon has been consulted.

Like a cubic monolith, Wakeup Copenhagen will stand like a mountainside, which with its black exterior and anodized window surfaces, will form an elegant setting for the guests' stay in Copenhagen.
