On February 4, Copenhagen's third restaurant with and ecology-concept opened its doors. KarriereFOOD, situated on Flæsketorvet in the meatpacking district, "Kødbyen", will serve ecologic and sustainable food, grown in own harvest.
The restaurant's concept is based on an understanding and respect for the produce - their origin and capacities. The menu will follow the changing seasons and will be flexible to suit both the guest in a hurry and those who wish to enjoy a long dinner. On Mondays karriereFOOD closes its kitchen and the two head chefs travel to the south of Copenhagen to collect groceries for the week, from its own biodynamic horticulture. Here a harvest for the restaurant's menu will be grown, to ensure fresh quality produce. Dine and wine The menu will resemble the supper club concept, and guests can therefore enjoy both short and long dinners either at tables or in the bar. The people behind karriereFOOD's gastronomic concept are the two head chefs Astrid Baadsgaard and Lena Lee Jørgensen, who have worked together at NOMA during their school period.
Opening hours: The kitchen is open 19-23 on all open evenings (snacks are served from 18). Brunch is served saturdays & sundays from 10-15
