In an emergency, dial 112 to contact the police, call for an ambulance or the fire-fighting service. Speak slowly and distinctly. State telephone number and address. Emergency calls from public pay phones are free.
AkutDanmark is a mobile app, which shows you all emergency information in Denmark in Danish, English or German. The app automatically matches the language settings of your mobile phone. The app costs DKK 6 (approximately $1) and can be downloaded via App store and Google Play.
There is no shortage of pharmacies in Copenhagen; just look for the green a sign that symbolises the Danish word for chemist: apotek.

Doctors on call
The public doctors Lægevagten are on call weekdays 16:00 - 08:00. Prices start at DKK 250 (EU citizens are not charged) and you must expect waiting time on house/hotel calls or be asked to transport yourself to the hospital.

The Private Doctor is on call seven days a week, 08:00 - 24:00. House or hotel calls within an hour. Prices start at DKK 1,400. House calls and clinic consultations are the same price. Acute dental treatment can also be organised. Tel.: +45 6075 4070
