Michelin-starred restaurants

 

The 2013 edition of the Michelin Guide Rouge has awarded Copenhagen’s restaurants a total of 15 stars, a record high for Copenhagen. The fully organic restaurant, Geranium, was awarded its 2nd Michelin giving the city two two-star restaurants.

A total of 15 Michelin stars to 13 restaurants have been awarded to the city of Copenhagen in 2013 – which is more than any other Scandinavian city. Newcomer to receive a Michelin star in Copenhagen is restaurant Kadeau, and the restaurant Geranium has received its second star. Noma, the World's Best Restaurant 2012, keeps its two stars.

The gourmet restaurant noma has been ranked the Best Restaurant in the World in 2010, 2011 and 2012 by Fine Dining Lovers. In 2013 it was ranked second best in the world and also kept its two stars in the Michelin Guide 2013.

Geranium is one of Copenhagen's two two-starred Michelin-starred restaurants. It was also ranked the 45th Best Restaurant in the World in 2013 by Fine Dining Lovers, and is run by the world's best chef in 2011 Rasmus Kofoed.

The Red Cottage recieved a Michelin star again in 2013.
