Beer

Need to quench your thirst the Danish way? Then find your way into one of the city’s many bars, breweries or restaurants where you will find great Danish beer. 

Denmark is famous worldwide for Tuborg and Carlsberg, but the two pilsners are far from the only possibility. Micro breweries have become widely popular throughout the country, and this has made quite an impact on the selection. 

From Apollo Brewery next to Tivoli, to Nørrebro Bryghus in charming Ryesgade, and BrewPub right in the city centre, there are plenty of opportunities to quench your thirst with a glass of cold Danish hops.  

Copenhagen also has its own Beer Festival.

Andy's Bar on Gothersgade in Copenhagen gives you a real pub atmosphere with a jukebox and cheap beer.

Bartof Café is a relaxed live-music café with high-spirited patrons and great beer.

The Beer Festival is open to anyone who wants to learn more about beer tasting, new beers or just want have a pleasant experience beyond the ordinary.

Bishop's Arms in Copenhagen is the place to meet over a beer and a meal in a cozy English pub environment.

Harbo Bar is located in the hip area on Nørrebro and has become a popular hangout for many Copenhageners.
