Copenhagen is beautiful during Christmas and the winter months. Buildings and shops are lit up by thousands of lights all over the city and especially Kongens Nytorv (The Kings Square) and Tivoli Gardens, both in the heart of the city, are breathtaking experiences for cruise passengers. Christmas markets are found all over the city, big and small, and they all portray the best of the Danish Christmas tradition.
