”Teamwork and long-lasting friendships” is the Copenhagen slogan, which reflects the importance of both efficiency and personal relationships in the destination’s work with the cruise industry. With this in mind and for the fifth year in a row, Cruise Copenhagen Network (CCN) has announced its ‘2015 Ambassador Award’ in Miami.
Recipient Althea Palmer received her accolade from Claus Bødker, Cruise Copenhagen Director. Speaking at the presentation, he said: “The Ambassador Award is presented annually to an industry personality, who has been an active part of placing Copenhagen, or Denmark on the global cruise map. Althea has more than assisted us in achieving our mission of bringing cruise business to our part of the Baltic Sea region."
Althea responded: “I am honoured to represent my company and accept this prestigious award with pride. For many years Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. has been bringing cruise business to Copenhagen and Denmark on ships in our fleet; the many attractions of the region prove popular with our passengers and long may the relationship continue to be a mutually beneficial one."
