The European Short Course Championships will be the first sports event in Royal Arena
From December 13th – 17th, Denmark’s new multi arena will be transformed into a swimming pool, when the European Swimming Championship kicks off in Copenhagen.
The impressive Royal Arena is a scalable venue that can be customized for all kinds of events – for a full house, up to 16,000 people take up the seats and floor area. For the European Championship, the floor area will of course be taken up by the pool, and the arena will be scaled down to hold around 6,500 excited swimming enthusiasts.
During the five days of competitions, you can experience world-class swimming, when the 40 European champions are crowned. At every evening session, medals and European crowns will be awarded.
