Just because it's now December, not everything needs to be all Christmassy. Our editor, Asger, has handpicked five alternative ideas on how to explore (and eat your way through) Copenhagen this month, in case you want more than the usual holiday happenings.
Winter is by most Danes considered a peak season for hygge. To me, the annual Christmas shopping in the area around Pilestræde and Kronprinsensgade here, is one of the traditions guaranteed to get me into the Christmas spirit as it really encapsulates everything hygge. Make sure to get some warm mulled wine in one one of the area's many cafés and just soak up the atmosphere in the narrow streets which are all dressed up for the holiday season. Now that's Christmas hygge.
