Flea markets
Flea markets thrive during spring and summer. There are several places in Copenhagen where open air flea markets tempt you with cheap second hand goods, bric-a-brac, even an overlooked unique antique. The flea markets by the Frederiksberg City Hall, on Israels Plads and on Nørrebrogade tend to be slightly cheaper than the otherwise very popular Event: Christmas and New Year 2010 Celebrate Christmas and New Year's Eve in Copenhagen and surroundings. Danes love Christmas more than any other holiday, and with Christmas markets, concerts, entertainment, decorations and shopping, Copenhagen is a Christmas city to be seen. Event: Flea and craft markets At the Copenhagen and North Sealand flea and craft markets, you will have ample opportunity to look through old junk and treasures as well as new craft work. In Spring and Summer flea and craft markets pop up all over Copenhagen and in the small towns of North Sealand. The flea market in Frederiksberg, at Israels Plads and on Venue: Christmas Market in Nyhavn Popular Christmas market open from mid November until Christmas. Stalls sell Christmas things and refreshments, there's music and you may meet the old town watchman.
