The award-winning American photographer, Tom Till, is exhibiting photos of World Cultural Heritage Sites at Kronborg Castle.

Visit the exhibition of photos of World Cultural Heritage sites designated by UNESCO, and see the beautiful Kronborg Castle which is itself on UNESCO's list. The exhibition continues until 15 August 2010, and admission is free of charge.

World Cultural Heritage Sites

Some places in the world transgress national boundaries, religions and ethnic differences. Places which are so unique and valuable for humanity that they are protected by the World Heritage Convention. Places such as the Taj Mahal, the Great Wall of China and the Pyramids. And lesser-known places such as the Old City of Salamanca in Spain and the Palmyra Ruins in Syria. Denmark has also contributed to the list, with one site being Kronborg Castle.

The exhibition shows 32 selected sites which are already on UNECSO's list, including photos of the three World Cultural Heritage Sites in Denmark: Roskilde Cathedral, the Jelling Stones and Kronborg Castle itself.

Tom Till's pictures also show Erik of Pomerania's Chamber which is not normally open to the public. It is one of the castle's oldest rooms dating from the early 1400s.
