Legendary Jazzhus Montmartre is back

Copenhagen's legendary Jazzhus Montmartre re-opened May 1st in its original premises in Copenhagen.

According to the guiding principles behind the new Jazzhus Montmartre, the ambition is to be "A cultural institution of international class", and to "Spot new talents".

MontmartreThe two friends behind the rebirth of Jazzhus Montmartre in Copenhagen, Niels Lan Doky and Rune Bech, have both been living abroad for many years, and are now back in Denmark realizing their common dream to re-create the best club of them all, legendary Jazzhus Montmartre.

 The founders

Niels Lan Doky is an internationally renown jazz pianist, composer, producer and a voting member of the US Grammy Awards/American Recording Academy Jazz committee. Rune Bech is a keen jazz lover, former journalist, serial entrepreneur and investor.

Quality café food

The café at Montmartre wil be run by the Michelin awarded team behind Era Ora and Acquamarina, and will offer quality Italian food at café prices. The café will be open Monday to Saturday from 12 noon to 11.30pm.

The full menu is served througout the day until shortly before the music starts at 8pm.
