The Apollo Brewery
About 50 meters from the main entrance to Tivoli on Vesterbrogade, Apollo is found, the oldest Danish micro brewery, which was founded in 1990 as a house brewery and restaurant. The brewery always has its own brew in the taps. The standard beer is pilsner, brewed according to the German principal of purity. So all it takes is hops, yeast, malt, water - and time!
The beer of the month is a special brew to fit the season created by the brew master. Henrik Damgaard is good at experimenting and this results in many surprising brews!
