Brugt tøj

Old dresses with a scent of Dior, beautiful high heels, pearls and sequins from ancient times. In recent years Copenhagen has seen a boom in chic second hand and vintage shops, where the clothes are hand picked from abroad or carefully selected, washed and ironed.

Atelier Decor

Lone Riis has run the vintage shop Atelier Decor in Rømersgade for over 30 years. Vintage usually means a piece of clothing of good quality and with a unique design which makes it worth preserving. Explore 100 years of fashion in Atelier Decor.

Carmen og Fantasio

Carmen og Fantasio is one of Copenhagen's oldest and best vintage shops, in Larsbjørnssstræde, nicknamed Pisserenden. Here you can find glasses, belts, handbags, dresses, coats, rain coats, jewelry and scarves.

Ça Roule Ma Poule

Another vintage shop of special character is Ça Roule Ma Poule in Silkegade. It is one of Copenhagen's most exclusive vintage boutiques, and also one of the few who can legitimately call itself a vintage shop. Ça Roule Ma Poule's clothes are carefully selected, and often it has not been worn at all.

This is where you should go if you love Chloé, Diane von Furstenberg, Dior, Yves Saint Laurent and other expensive brands that you either cannot afford to buy from new or you just like the models from the past.

Fisk

If you want to support a good cause while you shop then visit DanChurchAid's second hand shop Fisk in Sankt Peders Stræde. Fisk is a combined café and shop which only sells fair trade, recycled and organic goods, from which proceeds will go to the world's less fortunate people.

The charity shop sells carefully selected vintage clothing from DanChurchAid as well as their own clothing line Fiks, which consists of second hand clothing which has been redesigned and altered by the shop's volunteer designers and seamstresses.

FN92 Vintage

In Copenhagen's Latin Quarter, in Larsbjørnsstræde, also called Pisserenden, you will find a vintage store with the most amazing dresses, bags, hats and shoes. Owner Pauli Tvilling collects only clothes of good quality and mostly from bygone decades. Some of the clothes has been redesigned. So expect lots of fine lace, brooches in all shades and shoes and hats worthy of a derby.

Frk. Lilla

Frk. Lilla - meaning Miss Purple - in Frederiksborggade is the latest addition of luxury second-hand shops in Copenhagen. Here you will find clothes, shoes, bags and accessories from a wide range of expensive brands for women. Although the goods have been used, the quality is excellent. Here you can find brands such as Bvlgari, Mulburry, Phillip Lim and Vanessa Bruno.

Frk. Lilla has about 350 pieces of clothing in the store. The clothes stay on the shelves no longer than two months, so the selection is constantly new. The store has a policy of goods not being more than two years old, but 90 percent of the clothes in the store is no more than a year old.

Genbrug

Genbrug - which means recycling - is a second hand shop on Vesterbrogade, which boasts of having Copenhagen's best dresses, divided by decades. Here you will find both sequin tops, skirts, dresses and jackets from the 1950's to 1980's.

Genbrug also has a sister shop Sko og Tasker - which means shoes and bags - two minutes walk away in Kaalundsgade. Here you will find all the accessories for your dress, such as belts, leggings, jackets, stillettos, boots and bags.

Glam

The vintage shop Glam in Silkegade is run by two English women. Here you will find the glamorous style with a touch of humour. If you are looking for a party dress or accessories such as colourful plastic jewelry, fun brooches, shoes and bags, then stop by Glam.

Greibe og Kumari 2hand clothing

Greibe og Kumari 2hand clothing in Nordre Frihavnsgade in the Østerbro area is one of the first second hand shops in Copenhagen, which accepts second hand clothing in commission. Here you can hand in your fashion items and get 50 percent if it is sold. Of course you can also just shop.

You can find brands like Marc Jacobs, Diane von Fürstenberg and Prada. Greibe og Kumari 2hand clothing has expanded the store with a children's clothing department, where you can find clothes from brands like Bon Point, Diesel, Heartmeade, Katvig and Søstjernen.

Kitch Bitch

Kitch Bitch in Læderstræde is a funky little second hand shop for men and women. Here you can find Danish design, dresses from the 1970's and 1980's, shirts, handbags and fun stuff.

KK Vintage

Kirkens Korshær - Church Cross Army - runs a vintage shop in Blågårdsgade in the Nørrebro area. Here you can find a second hand shirt, dress or jacket. You can take it home as it is, or you can get one of the store's volunteer designers to redesign it so you get to take home a unique piece of clothing.

RetroSales.dk

RetroSales.dk in Sankt Peters Stræde - Pisserenden - is a retro and vintage store with a large selection of belts, purses, shoes, jewelry, sunglasses, boots, bags and of course lots of clothes. Some of it can also be purchased online.

Roxy Klassik

Roxy Klassik is a classic in Copenhagen. Here you will find lighting, ceramics, furniture, rugs, art and crafts in Scandinavian design.

Roxy Klassik has specialized in furniture and interior design classics from the 1900's from architects such as Kaare Klint, Ole Wancher, Hans J. Wegner, Finn Juhl and Arne Jacobsen to designers such as Verner Panton, Charles and Ray Eames and Poul Henningsen.

The store has a total of three showrooms, the largest is in the area of Nørrebro. You will also find a shop on Godthåbsvej in Frederiksberg and a large warehouse near Copenhagen Airport. Roxy Klassik offers its customers pick up at the airport. And you can get your purchases packed and shipped.

Second Love

Second Love is a second hand shop in the Christianshavn area. You will find everything from coats, jackets, dresses, skirts, shoes, t-shirts, shirts and scarves from the 1970's to 1990's. The style is casual but pretty.

The Second Way in Studiestræde is a small second hand shop with clothes and accessories.

Tiger-Lily

Tiger Lilly on Værnedamsvej on the border of Frederiksberg and Vesterbro is owned by two stylists. Here you will find funky as well as feminine bohemian style vintage dresses from the 1950's, 1960's and 1970's. The shop sells trendy Vesterbro designer treasures.

Vintagefashion.dk

Vintagefashion.dk has no physical store, but sells vintage clothes online. 

Von Qualen

The vintage shop Von Qualen on Gammel Kongevej specializes in beautiful dresses from the 1950's to the 1970's. Everything is handpicked by the owner Rikke Von Qualen, who travels to Los Angeles several times a year in search of amazing vintage dresses.

Rikke Von Qualen is also a dress tailor, so she knows good quality. There is always the possibility of getting your new vintage dress fitted, so it fits you perfectly.

Besides vintage clothes Rikke Von Qualen also sells her own clothing line as well as new clothes - always in styles that match the vintage dresses.
