Whether you are looking for royal porcelain or the latest AV techonology, Copenhagen is home to many flagship stores of Danish interior design and furniture.

Bang og Olufsen

On Kongens Nytorv square you can visit the world famous Bang og Olufsen, known for their impressive design and technology in audio and visuals. The 80 year old design is a mix of good Danish craftsmanship and innovation. You will also find shops in Nørre Voldgade and Østerbrogade in Copenhagen. 

Bodum Home

Bodum's several storeys high flagship store Bodum Home is located in Østergade on Strøget near Kongens Nytorv. The store sells everything for kitchens and bathrooms. Bodum has stores in many places in and around Copenhagen. Check out their website below for more stores.

Bolia

Bolia is located on Vesterbrogade and Christian IX Gade and sells Scandinavian furniture design. While you let yourself be inspired, you can enjoy a cup of Italian coffee and listen to the latest lounge music handpicked for Bolia. You will also find Bolia in Field's shopping centre in Ørestad.

Butik for Borddækning

Butik for Borddækning in Møntergade is a shop selling all the things you need to set a table. The shop represents nine designers and craftsmen, each working with individual ideas, materials and shapes. Here you will find materials such as glass, porcelain, pottery, concrete and wood.

CasaShop

CasaShop in Store Regnegade is an old classic, when you need to find great design for your home. Here you will find a wide range of Danish and international interior designs from furniture and lamps to bowls and vases.

Moreover, in Bulthaup CasaStudio on Gammelmønt you can also find the German kitchen design Bulthaup.

Glasseriet

Glasseriet in Jenagade on Amager is a combined glass studio and gallery. Here you will find glass art and design by the owner Rikke Bruzelius as well as changing exhibitions of paintings and paper art.

GUBI

In the large GUBI showroom in Frihavnen you can see the furniture from all angles. This is where world class Danish furniture design unfolds on 2,000 square metres.

GUBI is one of the biggest Danish design successes in modern times, and their furniture can be seen in places like the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York.

GUBI has also furnished Copenhagen's designer hostel Danhostel Copenhagen. The colourful, yet minimalistic style is the hallmark of GUBI.

Hay

The interior design shop Hay Cph is located in Pilestræde, and around the corner on Østergade on Strøget is the somewhat larger Hay House. Hay sells its furniture in 20 different countries and have a great stake in Copenhagen's position as a city of world class design.

In both stores you will find furniture in unconventional shapes, but even smalller often funny things for the home - from designer pillows and towels to wall clocks and vases - can be found.

Illums Bolighus

Illums Bolighus is located on Amagertorv on Strøget. The flagship store sells everything your heart could possibly desire when it comes to shopping interior design.

Here you will find Scandinavian design from Georg Jensen, Normann Copenhagen, Vipp, Rosendahl, Stelton, Eva Trio and Grand Cru, but also leading international designers.

Kartell

Kartell also has a flagship in Denmark, as well as in 95 other countries. In Kristen Bernikowsgade, near Strøget, in Copenhagen you will find lamps, knickknacks and furniture from the Italian designers' hands.

Lisbeth Dahl

The demand for Lisbeth Dahl's design has increased in recent years, and collections from the Danish designer team has grown bigger and bigger in time. Today Lisbeth Dahl is present in 22 countries worldwide.

The shop in Købmagergade is a true paradise for women who are looking for beautiful feminine designs for the home. Prices are very reasonable. You will also find Lisbeth Dahl in Copenhagen Airport, Lyngby, Hillerød and Tivoli Gardens.

Milk Contemporary

Milk Contemporary is a small design shop located in the Waterfront shopping centre in Hellerup, just north of city centre. Here you will find books, art, fashion, music, furniture and other designer items from many different designers.

Normann Copenhagen

Normann Copenhagen is housed in a 1,700 square metre showroom on Østerbrogade in the Østerbro area. Normann Copenhagen is anything but a traditional furniture store. Attention is paid to style, mood and storytelling in the large showroom.

The selection is broad. Modern furniture, lamps, music, clothes, perfumes and other home accessories. There are kitchen things in plastic from Normann Copenhagen's own brand, but also award winning and exclusive furniture.

Paustian

Simple and functional seem to be the red thread inside Paustian, whose design shop is located on Kalkbrænderiløbskaj in Nordhavn. With a complete range of furniture, rugs, lighting and accessories Paustian offers the best in Danish and international design.

Here you will find designs from the Bouroullec brothers, Charles and Ray Eames and Verner Panton. Paustian also has its own furniture line, designed by Danish architects and designers.

Plint

In Købmagergade in Copenhagen city centre you will find Plint, a small shop with home assecories and some children's stuff as well. Here you will find delicious designer stuff for the kitchen and the dining table as well as teddy bears and toys, including the brand House Doctor.

Rambow

The design shop Rambow on Østerbrogade in Østerbro sells new design alongside old classics. Shop owner Gitte Rambow lives in the housing area of Brumleby where the shop is also to be found in the former public baths.

Rambow has a large selection of household items and furniture from designers such as Fermob, FAST, Jukka Setäläs, Tolix, MAGIS, BTC original, Jean-Loius Domecqs Jieldé, Verner Panton, Elenora home, Excel, Dualit, Warring and Russel Hopps, Kingfisher, Royal Copenhagen, Anne Black, Ditte Fischer and Helbak.

Royal Copenhagen, Nicolai Bergmann and Georg Jensen

Amagertorv on Strøget is home to Royal Copenhagen's flagship store, which also includes Georg Jensen's silverware and Nicolai Bergmann's floral decorations.

Royal Copenhagen has a long history, dating back to the 1775. The royal porcelain is loved and known worldwide, not least because Royal Copenhagen has managed to combine old traditions with new trends. Quality and service are paramount when you visit the flagship store, which also consists of a cafe and museum.

In 2009 Nicolai Bergmann moved in on Royal Copenhagen's ground floor. In just 10 years he has established himself as an international floral designer with four stores in Tokyo and now one in Copenhagen.

Next door you will find Georg Jensen, who also represents the ultimate in Scandinavian design with a varied selection of jewelry, silverware, cutlery, watches and gifts.

Rue Verte Plus  

Rue Verte Plus is located in Ny Østergade in the heart of Copenhagen, close to Strøget. The shop is a lifestyle concept store, which is a combination of the interior design shop, the clothes shop Rue Verte and the juice and coffee bar, Joe and the Juice. Here you will find designer furniture, lamps and clothes.

Stilleben

The small design shop Stilleben in Læderstræde, a parallel street to Strøget, sells interior design by Danish and international brands.

Here you will find designs from Helena Rohner, Anna-Carin Dahl, Holmegaard, Anne Black, Ditte Fisher, Christiane Perrochon, Jonathan Adler, MUD, Sentou, George Jensen, Cecilie Manz, Inge Vincent, 1150 Vest, Refer og Staer, Aymara, Kæhler and Birgitte Mørk Winther.

Workshop Copenhagen

Workshop Copenhagen is an artist and designer collective, where 25 artists and designers together operate a shop in Studiestræde. Here you can shop jewelry, paintings, pottery, lamps, sculptures and clothes for children and adults.
