Our mother tongue is Danish, which is closely related to both Swedish and Norwegian.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs arranges group tuition 'On speaking terms with the Danes'. Studieskolen and Danskbureauet offer Danish classes. See below.

However, most Danes speak English well, especially among the young generation. German and French are also taught in school, so when you visit Denmark you will have no problems language-wise.
