![]() ![]() Arp-Hansen Hotel Group recently revealed the plans regarding the group's development of the TIVOLI CONGRESS CENTRE and TIVOLI HOTEL which will open at the end of 2010. Now the name and concept of the group's latest addition, which will open in the autumn of 2009 on the Congress Centre site at Kalvebod Brygge, are revealed. Wakeup Copenhagen will open with 510 rooms at the new location at Kalvebod Allé in the autumn of 2009 and will become a quite new hotel concept in Arp-Hansen Hotel Group's hotel portfolio located in central Copenhagen. A new offer for the guests is to combine the stay with quick, comfortable quality.
The group's 10th hotel Wakeup Copenhagen will not only become the group's largest hotel but also a new low budget hotel with attractive prices - following the budget airline model Wakeup Copenhagen offers a number of rooms at each price level and the room will be charged upon online booking. Easy and affordable - the sooner the guest books, the cheaper. Moreover, the hotel offers a trendy and cosy lobby with drinks, sandwiches, cookies and snacks available 24 hours a day and a high-tech business centre featuring mail and office services. True to Arp-Hansen Hotel Group's philosophy - that a unique building with a unique location creates a unique hotel - they have joined forces with architect Kim Utzon, who has displayed his skills in the creation of an exciting hotel at the group's new hotel Copenhagen Island, where the light, space and air of the building creates a pleasant theme for the guest's stay. As a cubic monolith Wakeup Copenhagen will appear as a mountain side which, with its black surfaces and natural, eloxidised windows becomes a fantastic canvas for visitors in Copenhagen.
